Well, I felt there were some very talented crafts at Otakon in mechanical senses. Perhaps not on the acting level of some past cons (some did go longer than I had felt), but some good crafts. A few EVA costumes (and I mean EVA's and Angels, folks), a Priss hardsuit with a modified and working motorcycle, a roly-poly costumed set of Genma and Doraemon, a Sailor Galaxia suit made of hammered metal...a lot of good crafting jobs.
