“My Neighbor Totoro” Playing September 1

CJAS will be showing My Neighbor Totoro this Saturday at 10:25pm in Goldwin Smith Hall’s Lewis Auditorium. Our Miyazaki movie for the semester, Totoro is widely considered one of the acclaimed director’s most charming films. First Meeting Fall 2007

The first CJAS meeting this semester will be on Saturday, August 25 at 8 pm in Goldwin Smith Hall’s Lewis Auditorium. However, many members on the executive board will be arriving by 7:30, so be sure to stop by early if you want to find out more about how CJAS is run, meet more fans, and talk about anime!

Orientation Week Meetings

Monday, August 20th, 2007 Announcements, Events

CJAS will hold three special meetings during Orientation Week. The first two meetings will take place on Monday 8/20 and Tuesday 8/21 from 6:00 to 10:00pm on the bottom floor of Appel Commons. The third meeting will take place on Wednesday 8/22 from 5:00 to 9:00pm in the lounge on the first floor of RPCC. Stop by for your fill of anime, manga, and video games, and meet lots of other awesome anime fans!

“Porco Rosso” Playing February 3

CJAS will be showing Porco Rosso this Saturday at 10:25pm in Goldwin Smith Hall’s Lewis Auditorium. Porco Rosso is one of esteemed director Hayao Miyazaki’s lesser known and unique films, as it strays far from the typical Miyazaki storyline and setting.
