Get ready for some genetically insane fun in this insane series. It is no coincidence that this two-part series has been slotted for our April Fool's showing -- the whole thing is a spoof. For those of you who love "out there" series like Fairy Princess Ren, this is going to be a total blast. For one thing, most of the series is drawn in Super Deformed art. (SD art is a commonly-used technique employed to portray totally ridiculous situations. Characters are given huge heads and tiny, chubby bodies to imply silliness. As an example, Chichiri in the series Fushigi Yuugi is usually drawn SD.) And if that wasn't bad enough, the series has some totally absurd characters (listed below) to match the SD art and a blasphemous closing theme using some of Beethoven's works. And now for the characters:

Mink: Our heroine, Mink, is a dragon half: half dragon and half human. (Pops was ordered to slay Mommy-dear, but instead, fell in love and married her. Watch out for the loving relationship between her mom and her lecherous dad.) So Mink is cute, short, and has really PINK hair, horns, and a tail.

Dick Saucer: Mink, as well as her ditzy friends (including Pai), idolizes one of the oddest pop singers you will ever see, a wanna-be superhero called Dick Saucer. (his special attack: SAUCEEEEEEERRRRR!)

Damaramu (The guy who dies in each episode, just like Kenny from South Park): This superhero wanna-be wants to kill Mink, the evil child of the dreaded Red Dragon.

Rosario (The guy who caries around a bucket of dry ice): He enjoys making dramatic entrances. Just watch and see.

Mappy (Mighty Mouse): This little cute thing puts Ryo-oh-ki to shame. It can change form a little bit to protect his friends. ("A little bit?") He is Pai's guard-mouse.

The King with a slimy head: Okay, to clarify, Dragon Half is also infested with these creatures called "slimes". Slimes are little, gelatinous blobs with faces. One such blob, the King's pink, gelatinous wife, left her home in search of love and found the King's blobbish, bald head. The result? Another geneticist's nightmare: a slime half! And you thought DNAČ was bad!
