My Travel in Sydney, Australia (2001-03-12 to 2001-03-20)

Australia is a mixture of Asian and European culture.  Due to the short time, I was not able to fully explore Australia, which I must some day remediate!  As to what I did?  Well, let's see, I got my diving certification, learned how to surf and had an awesome time on the beach.  There are just so many things going on in Sydney!  Hay, Oliver buddy, wanna go?

Sydney Harbor

That's the Sydney Harbor Bridge where people get to walk on top of the arch. It is not for the fait of heart that's for sure.

Australia Governer's Mansion

I was lucky! The mansion, which is normally closed to the public was open to a selected few on the day of my arrival. Too bad they won't allow pictures inside.

From the mansion, the governer can see all the ships that come into Sydney harbor.

The Opera House

No other landmark probably symbolizes Australia better than this. (:

The Opera House

Sydney Ferries

The best way to get around Sydney. Don't bother taking the "tourist sucker" ferries. They all go the same place but the public ferries are so much cheaper!

Bondi Beach

This place is awesome. Too bad the water was a bit cold...

Night Time in Sydney Harbor

This place never goes to sleep. The night life is awesome!

My First Fish

This is the first fish I caught. My gosh, the fishing was so good that I spent more time putting baits on then waiting. Cool huh?

The One that Got Away...

Oh well, can't have everything.

SCUBA Diving

A fellow traveler from the US. She was my diving partner.

SCUBA Diving

Diving is awesome in Sydney. Do I look good or what?

Sydney National Park

Here are some wonderful people I met during my surfing trip. The guy is studying in Australia while the girl is teaching in Japan.

Proof that I Can Surf...

Yes, I can surf. Yeah right! hahahaha
