A Friend from Home

I met Sharon the same place I met Ayumi and Sachiko - at the Kyoto English Walking Tour. She is an amazing lady who has travelled the world some 30 years earlier. Sharon, I hope your trip home is a safe and pleasant one. ( :

Kiyomizu Temple

This is where the famous love stones are - The legend has it that if you can reach one rock from another with your eyes closed, your true love will show up in the next two years. Sachiko just helped me completed my walk between the two love stones. Oh true love, where are you??

7-5-3 Celebration

In Japan, age 7, 5 and 3 are considered the danger years for boys and girls. Therefore, they dress up to go to shrines and pray for blessing. Is she soooo kawai??
